Yup yup! Discovered this a couple of months back. I'll have to pick it up a few months later because of unforeseen problems that just popped up.

Any clue as to why it is Toho is distributing this instead of Tsuburaya?

And you know, I have "The Last Dinosaur" taped off television and I also have the Japanese LD print. But they seemed exactly the same. Does anyone out there have any clues as to any exact difference? I remember being disappointed when I saw the Japanese print that it was the same as what I'd always been watching.

Any clue as to if M-1 will be making that Tyrannosaurus figure available commercially in future? Cause I want one!

And just today I was thinking about how great a DVD release would be. Sure, I was hoping for an R1 release, but this will do. My VHS copy has very bad picture quality until they finally make it to the dinosaurs.

Another great thing is I'll finally be able to listen to that theme song whenever I please.

It says in my article that Toho-Towa (Toho's old foreign film distribution arm) was the original theatrical distributor, and must have signed a sweet deal—Tsuburaya Productions didn't have their own theatrical distribution arm.

For the DVD, the film was been remastered. Since they have the original 35mm elements, we'll see.

As for the theme song, you can listen to it here:

Thank you so much. I found it one time, but it was taken down. Thanks to Denver, it's next to impossible to find it usually.
